La Pavoni Europiccola Heritage
In the early 1900s, Luigi Bezzera invented the first espresso machine. This machine used steam to force hot water through coffee grounds, and it produced a strong, concentrated coffee. Bezzera's machine was large and expensive, so it was not widely adopted. In 1903, Desiderio Pavoni bought the patent for Bezzera's machine and began producing his own version, which he called the "Pavoni espresso machine." Pavoni's machine was much smaller and more affordable than Bezzera's, and it quickly became popular in cafes in Italy. Pavoni's son, Giuseppe, began working on a new version of the machine, which he called the "Europiccola." The Europiccola was even smaller and more affordable than the original Pavoni espresso machine, and it became even more popular. Today, the La Pavoni Europiccola is still in production, and it is still one of the most popular espresso machines on the market.La Pavoni Europiccola Design
The La Pavoni Europiccola is a sleek and modern espresso machine that is built to last. Featuring a triple-plated brass construction, this machine is designed with both style and function in mind. With a central boiler, manual lever, and left-handed portafilter, the Europiccola shares many design elements with its more expensive cousins. But what sets it apart is its affordable price tag and sleek chrome finish. The machine is made of polished chrome and has a retro feel that is reminiscent of the espresso machines of the past. The machine has a small footprint and is designed to be used on a countertop. The La Pavoni Europiccola manual lever espresso machine is a simple machine that is easy to use and produce quality espresso.La Pavoni Europiccola Functionality
The Europiccola is a manual lever espresso machine, meaning that the user must manually operate the lever to extract the espresso shot. The machine has a boiler that must be filled with water and a heating element that heats the water to brewing temperature. The machine also has a portafilter, which holds the ground coffee, and a brew head, through which the hot water is forced under pressure to extract the espresso. The Europiccola has a steam wand, which can be used to steam and froth milk for making lattes and cappuccinos. It takes skill and patience to learn to use a lever-operated manual machine. Once you get the hang of it, though, you’ll be pleased by how impressive it looks every time you pull a shot of espresso and the resulting fully-customized shot.La Pavoni Europiccola Durability
When you buy a new appliance, you want it to be built to last. With so many things made out of flimsy plastic these days, it's refreshing to see something that is constructed with durable materials. The La Pavoni Europiccola coffee machine is a great example of quality craftsmanship. Its heating elements are made from strong, corrosion-resistant steel. This ensures that the machine can withstand years of heavy use without issue. The stainless steel body is durable and will resist corrosion and rusting. The brass boiler is also built to last, providing even heat distribution for consistent espresso shots. The build quality of the La Pavoni Europiccola EPC-8 Espresso Machine is evident in its many features that are designed for durability and easy maintenance.La Pavoni Europiccola Maintenance
These beautifully designed machines are built to last, but even the best espresso machines need a little TLC from time to time. Here are some tips on how to keep your La Pavoni running like a charm for years to come: First and foremost, it's important to always use fresh, filtered water in your machine. Over time, minerals and other impurities can build up in the water tank, which can lead to problems with your espresso. If you notice that your espresso isn't tasting as good as it used to, it might be time to change the water. It's also important to descale your machine on a regular basis. Descaling helps to remove built-up calcium and other minerals that can clog your machine and affect its performance. You can buy a commercial descaling solution, or you can make your own by mixing equal parts water and white vinegar. In addition to descaling, it's also a good idea to regularly clean all of the removable parts of your machine, such as the portafilter, the filter basket, and the group head. A good rule of thumb is to clean these parts after every few espresso shots. Finally, be sure to keep an eye on the rubber gaskets and seals throughout your machine. Over time, these parts can become brittle and cracked, which can lead to leaks. If you notice any cracks or leaks, be sure to replace the affected part as soon as possible. By following these simple tips, you can keep your La Pavoni Europiccola EPC-8 running like new for many years to come. Why Purchase Your Espresso Machine From Crema Crafters?
